BRIEF:


This university project was about developing a proposition for a new ‘domestic lifestyle’ brand based on bathrooms, whose focus will serve the needs of an identified market in the near future.


PROBLEM:

Spending ‘me-time’ in the bathroom is affected by restrictions on water consumption and shared living.


SOLUTION:

Our brand Coorie is an intangible feeling of comfort: creating genuine realignment in a safe environment. The name Coorie stems from the Scots word meaning “to snuggle”. It is similar to the Scandinavian concept of hygge, which involves ideas such as cosiness.

My group developed a product range for the brand, satisfying the consumer’s different needs. Riecover is an opportunity to attain higher mental well-being. With aural and thermal responses to tactile movement, it is reminiscent of the soothing sensation of water. It is for those who miss the warmth and comfort of bathing and the sound of relief when immersing themselves in warm water.
